  • Building Automation Systems & Lighting Interfaces

Building Automation Systems will affect how you design, control or even light your project! Do you have a working knowledge of BAS?  Have you considered how to incorporate BAS to maximize energy savings, achieve LEED accreditation, or even use BAS to give your occupants greater comfort?  These and many other questions will be answered by Jeff McClain in this presentation.

Jeff McClain, a BAS industry professional, will define Building Automation System Fundamentals, how these technologies can be applied toward LEED Certification, and how lighting interfaces play a role in these systems.  Attendees will learn how BAS can impact LEED credits, maximize building operating efficiency, quantify system performance, improve occupant comfort, and increase building sustainability.  At the end of this program attendees will be able to: recognize wide range of automation applications, understand how to apply BAS technologies to achieve LEED credits, understand the impact of automation on continuing building operation and occupant comfort / satisfaction, and present automation applications during LEED design presentations.

This program is approved for 1 AIA CEU.
